Open Door believes in the biblical principle of sowing and reaping (Eph 6). We believe that God wants His spiritual families to be giving to those who have needs, but also those who are doing work around the world to spread the gospel. We sow at least 10% of our monthly income into a variety of ministries and servants of the Lord. We support three ministries in Africa, one to native Americans in Arizona, another to European heads of state, and two Texas ministries dedicated to rehabilitation of men and women coming out of jail. We also accept the mandate of praying for Israel, as well as supporting an Israeli based Christian community, comprised of mostly messianic Jews.

In addition to the missions, we also support local needs with benevolent giving, and we encourage our members to be generous towards supporting local agencies such as Salvation Army, GRACE, and the Battered Women's Shelter.
